Hello Friends! I wanted to share one of my motto prints with you. I needed to take this one out of the frame to clean the glass and decided to scan the image so that you could enjoy it, too. Gotta love those steep roofed cottages!

For awhile now I have been on the lookout for a toy stove. I just couldn't find one that was 'The One'. When I layed eyes on this pretty little blue one, I knew this was It!

My favorite color is blue so this little sweetheart was the prettiest one I thought I'd ever seen. It looks really cute in my kitchen. The lighting isn't very good to take it's picture there though.

You may remember the little children's laundry vignette I have. I couldn't resist this adorable little doll dress to go with it.

Speaking of blue being my favorite color, this little kitty planter flew off the shelf at an antique store and begged to go home with me. I complied.

Of course anything for the kitchen that is blue appeals to me, too.

Pretty blue flowers in an old granite vase.

This cute Little Red Riding Hood puzzle features a Tasha Tudor illustration and is from 1961.

Since we're on the subject of favorite colors, I decided to come clean with you. This has been my favorite hair color since 1997.

" And I'll see your true colors shining through
I see your true colors and that's why I love you

So don't be afraid to let them show

Your true colors, true colors are shining through."

Thank you for stopping by to visit this week. I appreciate each and every one of you and for the friendship that we share.

Wishing you much happiness! Twyla

Wow Twyla...your having a real blue day today...colourwise that is. Just don't let it go to your head!! LOL!! Sorry couldn't resist that one after seeing the Clairol.

I love that first illustration, I think it's beautiful, it reminds me of the ladies my mum used to embroider on cushions when I was a child.

Have a wonderful week.
Hugs,
Sandi

Oh my goodness, Twyla! That kitty is so cute! I wouldn't have been able to resist! You really got some good treasures, Twyla! I want a toy stove, too. I'm thinking white and Red to match my kitchen and it would sit on my wood cook stove. I want a cake carrier, too but I'm thinking pink. ☺

Bobby and I were watching Bewitched yesterday (I know) and the neighbor ladies brought Samantha a cake in a pink cake carrier! I was like, "Look, look, look!" and Bobby just smiles. ☺ I just love looking at all the home decor and fashion on that old show! Plus I think Elizabeth Montgomery is adorable. She looks sooo young to me now. ☺

Clairol won't touch my Grey. I have to use Loreal. Don't you ever change colors? I use a different one every month! ☺

We're having wonderfully windy weather that is chasing the humidity away! Hurray! Have a Grrrrrreat Tuesday, Twyla! ♥

You brave girl, admitting that you color your hair! I have a friend who swears up and down that she doesn't color. I don't believe her!
I "accidentally" have a collection of those Mother pictures! I never meant to collect them, but I found them so cheaply, and they're so pretty that they came home with me!
I love your little stove too, especially the name! Mine makes me so happy every time I look at it, because I can remember playing with it!
Have a wonderful day!

Oh, Twyla - I love every single thing! Thanks so much for sharing the cottage scene - you already KNOW I love those. And Tasha Tudor is my favorite artist and author. There's only one thing where our "taste" differs- and that's the choice of hair color!(Tee hee!)

Hi Twyla ...

As always, it's a pleasure to visit 'n read your Tuesday posts ... So many pretty treasures to see this time ... the doll dress is precious, and that awesome blue stove reminded me of my Easy Bake Oven, which was aqua ... The motto print is beautiful, and I wish I lived in that pink-roofed cottage ~ sighs ~ ... You know I'm totally smitten with the kitty planter ♥ she is simply adorable!!

Although I'm a proclaimed "Pink" girl, I've got quite a fondness for blue as well ... especially "Forget-Me-Not" blue ... that's one of the reasons why I use the forget-me-not flower for my avatar ...

Thank you for sharing with us, and I sure do hope you're doing well 'n having a great week ...

~ hugs ~

Hi Twyla
The toy stove is adorable. A few years ago my Mom bought something similar that was a miniature washing machine and Jessica loved to play with it because it really worked!
