Hello friends!

 

One of my favorite things about May

is the iris blooming.  Iris is my favorite

flower.  They grew in my yard when I

was a child and I think that may be why

I love them so.  I saw these beauties

when I went for my walk today.

Hello!

I just got back from our yearly visit to

the Crater of Diamonds State Park in

Arkansas!

 

As you can see, I took some time from

hunting diamonds to play with my new

friend, Tina.  She was a precious little gray

poodle.  I can't resist a cute dog!  I

offered to babysit and her parents were nice

enough to let me:)

 

It was hot the last few days and you can

tell by the picture I was pretty tired.  I

welcomed the sweet diversion.

 

Once again, we returned home with no

diamond, but we will try again!

May 15 Crafting a Farm Fresh Mini Album

 

Hello friends!

When I saw this sweet farm themed paper line by October Afternoon

 I fell in love. The colors and the style are so adorable and yummy

 I couldn't wait to use it. So far I have made a  mini album with this collection.

 

 

I wanted this album to have a good old country home feel to it.

 

The cherry patterned paper was definitely one of my favorites! And mason jars are one of cutest trends right now.

 

Layering my books and adding lots of kraft colored cardstock

 really made this album pop.

 This barn is one that sits in mid Missouri.
I thought it was unusual with the the two doors
on either side rather than in the middle.

 Hello!

This beautiful stained glass window can be
found in Bellefontaine Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
One of the prettiest places in the city!
It is called the other botanical garden and is very
pretty with a variety of trees, bushes and flowers.
