I love the old-fashioned Hollyhock! Now there's a real flower for you! Puppet and I still make dolls from them: the unopened buds (the turbaned heads of the glamorous dancers dolls) added to the full blossoms (the fancy ballgowns)! We've been known to even put lipstick on their little faces! Thanks for sharing these wonderful postcards!
I love to look at vintage greeting cards. Their pictures are so pretty!~Ann
These are so pretty!I loved the shadow box, too! I remember when they were all the rage in the '70s. I tried to leave a comment last night and couldn't, so I'm a little late with the shadowbox comment.
very pretty...by the way, did you receive my email about being a blog guest on my blog???
Oh..what would summer be without Holly Locks!!! (that is what we called them as children..lol)Played with those flowers a many day when I was little.Cindy from Rick-Rack and Gingham
Love these postcards. My hollyhocks are about a foot tall already and I can hardly wait to see them taller and in bloom. They're a great vintage flower. Love that bumblebee too!
