Barbie Wednesday

Hello friends! Today I am featuring Drum Majorette Barbies.
Here is a great picture of 2 Bubble Cut Barbies in Drum Majorette costumes!
I love the boots!!

Here is another great picture of a ponytail Barbie in the Majorette costume.

This vintage Drum Majorette #875 outfit is from 1964.

Here is Ken's coordinating Drum Major outfit #775 also from 1964.

This cute Drum Majorette is a Coca Cola Collector's Edition Barbie from 2002.

Have a lovely day, Lindsey

Boy, the best part of vintage Barbie outfits are the accessories. (Thanks for this looksee-- I love the little "Mattel Daily"!) It was just the other day that I bought an old round, plaid Barbie picnic cooler to call my very own. (Finally. I've wanted one ever since the dawning of mankind!)

Now I am on Cloud Barbie! You have made my day with this posting. I used to have these dolls, maybe this is why I love majorette themed things so much! Have a great week ahead Lindsey! E

Absolutely cute! The packaging of the Drum Majorette outfit takes me back to my childhood of Christmas mornings back in the 1960's when I was little. FLASHBACK!

Cute collection of Barbies...made me lonely for those days when I daughter was home playing with hers.
I wanted to come by and say hello and catch up on your site.
Love the Vintage postcards and cups. Also what great finds on those pillows. They are adorable especially the first one. Very pretty.
Take care
Maggie

I'm one of those kids whose mother threw out all her Barbies, and due to my age, I actually had Barbie #1. Oh well, no use crying over it at this point in time! I now collect Barbies but they're the new ones via the Barbie Fan Club--since you've visited my blog (thank you!!) you know that I collect darn near everything. Vintage Barbies are wonderful but if they're in decent condition they're usually INdecently expensive. Have a great day!

Hi ladies.

I fell onto your blog because I answered a question in the Fashion & Style category of Y!A re: a fictional dress that someone wanted to find (or even know if it existed).

I basically answered her that it DOES exist, as it appeared to be an up-dated version of the classic, drum majorette uniform (as Midge has on in the image above). I linked your site in my answer.

Yahoo Answers:
"Does this dress exist"..?

I really enjoyed your post and will be back for sure!

Thanks,
Tuesday
