Barbies for Christmas!!!

I got several Barbie goodies for Christmas this year!

My Mom got me the Holiday Barbie which I collect every year. This year she looked wonderfully Sugar Kissed!!!

My Brother got me the Generation of Dreams Barbie. Isn't her dress awesome?! I just love it! Mattel also makes a print of the sketch of the doll which I hoped to get and a matching silk scarf in the dress pattern.

It was a fun Christmas and I have lots more to show!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I am getting very excited for the new year! I can't wait to show you all the pretty stuff spread out on my craft table!
Have a great day, Lindsey

Happy Sugar-Kissed Holiday Barbie! She's stunning! Wouldn't you love to borrow her dress to wear at a ringing-in-of-2010 party?! Happy New Year! (To Twyla, too!)

P.S. What a cool brother it is who would treat his dear sister to a Christmas present of Generation of Dreams B! His name wouldn't happen to be Ken, would it???

Now if I keep reading your blog I am surly going to start collecting Barbie "stuff"!! My Barbie had the stripped SS & a brunette pony tail & I got her in the late 50's!! She would have not been worth much because I played her to death!!
But... I loved her for many years!!
Great Post.....
Happy New Year!
Love,

I love Barbie, Lindsey--these are great. My first Barbie was the one that you have on the first photo. She had the blonde ponytail and striped bathing suit--I LOVED that doll!

I'd still like to get the Generation of Dreams one myself! She's gorgeous!
I did not get any dolls this year, but I did get two Barbie Christmas tree ornaments, and I definitely liked those! Best wishes to you and Twyla for a very Happy New Year! ~tina

Barbie dolls for Christmas...you can never ever go wrong. She keeps on giving and living in our hearts.
I have a friend named Victoria that drives a pink station wagon. She's tall and blond and has a figure to match Barbie. One day I had a dress up party and she came as Barbie...I'll never forget it. Wish I would have had the sense to snap pictures. Fond memories.

Hey Lindsey....I see that you collect the Holiday Barbies. My daughter (24) has so many of these that were my mother's and she is going to have to sell some of them. If you are missing a certain year and would like to obtain it, I can check the "stock" and see what she has to offer. They are all still in the original boxes some have never ever been opened. Just let me know if you are interested. You have some lovely things here and I'm enjoying this blog very much. Happy New Year to you!
Blessing and hugs :)
