Wouldn't it be fun if we all lived close by so that we could get together? I'd love to have you over for a cup of coffee and some casual chit chat.

Or maybe you'd prefer a cup of tea. What did you do today? What did you find at the thrift store? Yes, I went to the flea market yesterday. What's that you say? You only paid what?!

Girlfriends, sisters, companions. We have a unique opportunity in this blog world we live in to uplift each other by encouraging each other and offering friendship, hope and strength.

Help one another, is part of the religion of sisterhood.
- Louisa May Alcott

Let's remember to be positive with each other, showing kindness at every opportunity.

When sisters stand shoulder to shoulder,
who stands a chance against us?
- Pam Brown

This is a postcard from my collection. I love the sentiment.

Don't you just love this picture? She's so cute standing on the chair with those striped stockings. I am continually drawn to these old pictures.

I am hoping that each of you, dear friends, receive buckets of joy this week!

Much love, Twyla

what a lovely vision, us all sitting around the table, sharing stories of our days, the little details of our lives, laughter and fun, and all that sweetened with a cup of hot tea or coffee, and some cookies or a danish perhaps. I could bring along some delicious german creƔm cake, my favorite is chocolate. Or I can bring a Black Forest cake from the bakery here in town! :-) What fun it would be. I do so lovvveee blogging because of the friendship I have found here, the support one recieves during the difficult moments. I don't know how I lived without it before!! Have a good day, Debby

I love going through faded photographs. When Puppet was little, on rainy days, I would many times bring out a a carton of oldies I picked up at an estate sale and we'd each take a photo and write a story about this someone we never knew. It's raining today. Maybe I should get out that dusty box again!

I have received that bucket of joy! Blogging from a hotel in Seattle tonight, just got in from Montana. I'm with my honey and then tomorrow my daughter and I will go to a Cee Cee Winans concert and a womens conference. Thinking of you both...all in the spirit of love, between moms and daughters. Night night!

Wouldn't it be perfect to have coffee together.

I wonder, I'm going to give my family pots of rosemary for Christmas as this will be the first without my nan and the Rememberance postcard would be perfect to use on tags, would you mind?

Sweet. Love the old postcards. Every time I go into an antique store old postcards are the first thing I look at. I love the handwritten notes and feel so proud when I find one with a very old post date on it!

Jenn, I picked up the little doll at a garage sale a few years ago. I am not positive, but I believe it is an Irmi piece. Twyla
