A Collection of new vintage finds

Hello friends,
My Mom (Twyla) came home the other day with this beautiful crocheted apron! We both love the aqua and white stripes!

She was also so sweet and gave me this little metal doll bed. I thought of Holly from Girls at Heart when I saw the decal on the sides.

It has this pink and blue pattern on the bed but it also come with a pink blanket and pillow.

I know he's kinda rough, but what pretty colors this old bear has! I want to think he was very well loved and from the looks of him I would say he was.

I know Mom is the vintage planter collector in our family but I had to have this kitty planter when I saw the aqua roses on her head!

I am beyond happy with this find!!!!! Vintage Wallpaper!! A whole roll of this beautiful wallpaper! So cool! I have admired vintage wallpaper on etsy for awhile now but just had never committed to paying the high prices so I was thrilled to find this roll for only five dollars!

This is the before picture of a new project I will be working on. This was a wall display for Boyd's Bears. I am going to redo it with paint, vintage card images and some of my new wallpaper!
If it didn't have big scratches in the top I would leave the dark brown but it needs some work!
And it will definitely not be a calender when I am finished!

I hope you all had a great weekend, Lindsey

Hi Lindsey and Twyla!
What a beautiful apron. I, too, love those vintage aprons...and lots of new ones, too! One can never have enough aprons! ;-)

There's also something really sweet about a well-loved and tattered stuffed animal. We have a few around here and I'll always love them.

Have a great week. Always nice stopping by.
xoxo

I like that apron and the kitty planter with the aqua roses. So cute. I thought of you yesterday when I peeked in a vintage doll shop and saw several Barbie and Midge carrying cases.

You've hit on some childhood memories for me with this stuff! I still have the great old metal doll crib we all enjoyed playing with so many years ago. And the teddy bear totally reminds me of teddy bears that Lori and I were given for Christmas when were about 5 and 6. Mine was pink, and hers was blue - I named mine Pinky, so she named hers Bluey!

I really love this post. It's so fun to see the random things we find in our junk and trunk treasure trips. I love it all. Your mom has inspired me with all those baby planters and the bear is my favorite. I was busy today giving gnomes a bath and getting them settled for the winter. Out came the scarecrows, asking if it was their turn to play in gnomeland. They like to turn it into scarecrow land but 5 gnomes always stay behind all winter, on guard.
