Fireside Coffee Mix
2 ½ c. non-dairy creamer
2 c. hot cocoa mix
1 ½ c instant coffee granules
2 cups sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
Combine all ingredients mixing well. Store in airtight container. To make 1 cup, spoon 2 TBSP plus 1 tsp. mix in cup. Add 1 cup boiling water. Stir until well blended. I added ½ cup extra creamer, cocoa, and sugar to suit my taste.
This quote has always been special to me and I try to live my life with this thought in mind.
I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now, let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again. - Ettiene DeGrellet

Fireside coffee sounds wonderful. I'm not a hot tea person so much...the coffee I could devour. It would be perfect for little gifts too. :)
Have a great weekend!
What a lovely quote. I love that one. It is a good one to aspire to live by...if only we all tried to live our lives that way; the world would be a much safe place to live in. I was going to write "a pleasant place to live in", but in spite of all the insanity and unkindnesses there is still beauty and pleasantries in this world.
Thanks for sharing this recipe, it looks so yummy. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Smiles,
Carol
I love the quote! What wonderful words.
Your drink mix sounds good. I love to make instant hot drink mixes up for the winter time. The kids and I make Spice Tea and Hot chocolate mix up every year. We may have to try your Fireside Coffee this year.
Here's wishing you a happy weekend, as well! (Love that little pink kitty!)
That little pink kitty gave em a hug! :>
Hi Twyla,
I love that quote, thank you for the reminder : ) And I am going to grab all the things to make that drink mix at the store today, Sarah will love it too. Then she can make me a cup while she is waiting on me the next few weeks, lol. The pink kitten is Adorable!!! We are going to go see Matthew on Sunday and celebrate my Birthday with him, I am looking forward to that. I hope you and your family all have a great weekend too!
Hugs,
Kathy
What a nice warm drink for the cold nights, love drinking hot chocolate and watching an old film under a big throw on the couch.
