I get as excited as the next person over Basic Grey, Cosmo Cricket and Daisy D’s. I have drawers and drawers full of delightful, beautiful scrapbooking embellishmens that I have collected. In fact, I Love collecting scrapbook supplies! I have a confession to make . . . I find it hard to scrapbook. I love the paper, the stickers, all the pretty things that go along with it, but when it comes to cutting that pretty paper and sticking those stickers down I have a problem with ‘committing’. Does anyone else have these problems?
I love to collect. I guess that’s probably one thing we all have in common. This is a basket of old ecru lace I have collected. Not necessarily to use, just to enjoy the look of it.
Another corner of my sunroom where, as I said, I like to do my creating which lately has been crocheted lovelies. I did, however, fall asleep yesterday as it was so peaceful in my little sunroom. I had to wake myself up with one of these . . .
My homemade Mocha Joe. In my favorite vintage tumbler, I put some ice, fill half way with cooled down strong coffee and top it off with chocolate milk and a packet of Splenda. Yummy!
I disscovered a blog this week called Sea Cottage. Very nice family with beautiful dogs. I've enjoyed the inspiration that she offers. For a lovely time visit there a bit.
I have a birthday coming up this month on the 24th. It’s not as traumatic as last years birthday. I just have to remember that age is strictly mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter.
Wishing you much happiness, Twyla

I think I have the comitting problem too. I really admire the beautiful scrapbooks that other people make and I love to look at all the beautiful things in the scrapbooking aisles at the store. However, one of my neighbors keeps asking me to come to her weekly scrapbooking events and I just keep finding excuses not to go.
You do very nice crochet work and the Mocha Joe looks really good on these hot summer days. I'll have to try it.
Enjoy your week.
Oh yes, collecting the pretties is a huge part of crafting! I have stashes and stashes of stuff I'll probably never use, but I love having it around!
After I had my dog Sophie put to sleep a few years ago, I decided to make some scrapbook pages about her. I bought a scrapbook, papers, stickers, brads, etc. I have yet to do anything with it. It's all so pretty and I don't want to mess it up. Maybe some day, I will do something with it. I love your crochet work and that basket of lace.
Its me again! I have to tell you I just love your granny squares. Love the color...love the edging! How are you going to join them? I am seriously thinking that when I finish my Cath Kidson blanket making a throw out of these squares!
