My Creative Space: Easter Wall Hanging Tutorial

Hello friends!
This week in my creative space
 I am sharing a quick and easy tutorial for an Easter themed wall hanging
 using this cute vintage card!

Here is how it looks completed.

First, start by cutting a piece of cardboard to 9 x 12. Now start peeling off the top layer to reveal the corugated cardboard. I didn't take all of it off, leaving some intact made for a nice vintage feel.

Then I cut a peice of scrapbook paper 8 x 11. This paper is from The Honey Pie collection by Cosmo Cricket.

Ink the edges and glue to the center of the cardboard.

I then added a sheet of music paper from and old Hymns book, slightly above the center.

I found these really cute egg shaped paper doilies at The Dollar Store. I traced the outline onto red scrapbook paper and cut out the egg shape.

Ink the edge of the egg doily and glue to the left of the wall hanging. I then added an Easter journaling card, also from the Honey Pie collection by Cosmo Cricket.

Print and cut out the vintage card at the top of this post.  punch along the bottom for an added look of whimsy. Ink around the edges and glue to the wall hanging.
I also added a border sticker strip along the bottom. You can find lots of cute border stickers at your local craft store.

I then cut a swirl from green cardstock on my Cricut and added a flower.

I then cut out little circles in all different sizes using red and pink cardstock.
I then took a white and black gel pen and added stitch marks around the circles to make them stand out more.

Punch holes at the top and thread ribbon to create a hanger.

That's it! Pretty easy and fun! I hope you try this as I think it will add a festive touch to your Easter. If you do, please let us know and share your photos!

Wishing you all a wonderful day, Lindsey
