Hello Ladies! Welcome to another Barbie Wednesday! Are you ready for more Barbie goodness? Are you ready for more Barbie trivia? Then read on!

This is one of my favorite cases. It features a Twist N' Turn Barbie.

This Barbie is from the early eighties. The dress is from the late sixties.

Okay, now for some Barbie facts!

The Pentagon had the final approval on the series of military Barbies.

Barbie got her first car in 1962. It was an Austin Healy.

This is another reproduction Barbie. This was Barbie's first wedding dress!

Every second, three Barbie® dolls are sold somewhere in the world.

Barbie® doll has had more than a billion pair of shoes and over one hundred new additions to her wardrobe annually.

Happy Wednesday, Lindsey

I realize I may say it every week, but I LOVE Barbie Wednesdays! That case is one of the prettiest I've ever seen - and I love the colorful floral outfit and boots! You have inspired me - I dug my Barbies out yesterday, and one of these days I will get some pictures and do a post about them, too!

Hi Twyla and Lindsey
We have just found your blog and we love it. Your Barbie Wednesday posts are great. We collect Sindy dolls from the late 60's 70's and early 80's. Sindy was sort of the english equivalent of Barbie. We are fairly new to blogging and are going to do a post about our Sindys soon. We love your beautiful folk art collection too.

I have those Marine Corps Barbies and I also have a Navy Barbie too. Unfortunately, they haven't been seen since I moved into this house so who knows what happened to them.
