Victorian Flurries

Hello dear friends!
Today we share this winter image.
It's not very wintery in our part of
the country yet, but we enjoy dreaming of
snow.  Why is it that we enjoy the idea
of snow so much?  Maybe remembering
school days called off and building snowmen.

Winter came down to our home one night
Quietly pirouetting in on silvery toed slippers of snow,
And we, we were children once again.
-Bill Morgan, Jr.-

We wish you a happy and fun Sunday!

Oh I adore this painting. We have lots of snow here, been pirouetting in all day.

I love the vibrant colors used in this painting! I too could use a little snow. I love the quiet serenity it provides, everything looks shiny and new after it snows! What's not to love?

Hello sweet girls! the colors in this pic are so perfect!

We had a powdered sugar dusting last night and that's all I care to have! Maybe it's the cars in the ditches or the falls I took last winter or perhaps being snowed in and having to pay grocery money for someone to come plow us out... whatever the reason, fresh snow is pretty to look at but I'm still mad at it for last year! :)
