Twyla on Tuesday

Hello Ladies!
If you've read our blog for awhile you know our
fur babies are a big part of our lives.  You also
may know that Muffin is a very precious dog.
Unfortunately, he decided to get into dirty things in the
yard and had to come in and have a bath!
He was Not very happy and looked so cute I told
Lindsey to take a picture of him.  The only thing he hates
worse than baths is having his picture taken.  He moved as
soon as Lindsey pointed the camera.  He was definitely Mad
at having to have this bath.  His little front legs were stiff and he
wouldn't even look at me!
He forgave me and we are buds again.

I've been a travelin' girl lately!
My son and I love nothing more than exploring small
towns we've not discovered yet.
Rocheport, MO is just one such town that we found
ourselves in lately.  The picture below is of the
Missouri river.

We had the pleasure of eating in this restaurant overlooking
the river.  It was so much fun and the best burger I have ever eaten!
Rocheport is an awesome historic town where many people have
shops in their homes and you just go right in!
Do you know how much fun That is?!

This Sunday we went to Silver Dollar city for the annual
Fall Festival.  Always our favorite time of year to visit
this great family park.

Loved these happy faces on beautiful
hand made pottery pumpkins!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
You all are so dear to my heart!

Wishing you much happiness!
Love, Twyla

That Muffin is a cutie. How could you be mad at that little face? I had a wire-haired fox terrier named Scooter that used to run out and roll around in cat poo! Ugh! Sounds like you and your son had a nice little outing. Always fun to go on a little adventure close to home. have a great week. Tammy

Hee-hee! I don't know why our puppies hate baths so much when they seem so happy to be clean afterwards!

So glad you and your son can share fun times. I'm really enjoying Micah these days! I've missed having teens in the house.

My vaca starts today! Woo-hoo! I think I'll start by throwing away the ziplock bags instead of washing them! Shhh... don't tell! :)

Muffin is cute wet or dry! My Holly dreads bath time, too. It's nice that you and your son enjoy each other's company.
Sounds like you had lots of fun.------Shannon

Give that sweet little Muffin a hug from me...he is so so cute. Honey, my cat does not like a bath either and you should see him when he's in the tub....I'm telling you, that cat pure talks when he's in water! lol!
Y'all have a great day...the weather is beautiful :)

What a great little town - shops in the front room! Sounds like the quaint Mullica Hill area near us - I want to do a post about some of my adventures there - need more photos, though - where folks have built an antiques haven in a row of Victorian hoes - they often live on site and the downstairs area is the shop. A lovely day, today - I could go - but homefront chores beckon!
Joy!

The scenery is beautiful. Although we only lived in MO for one year, I remember the colors so well !

Muffin is adorable. If my Finn could write, he would understand, he does not really want to bath either. Hugs from Mary and Finley

Muffin is such a sweetie! Reminds me of my crew when it is bath time LOL I put all four in the tub at once. Everybody gets all shampooed up, then they all get scrubbed a dubbed, then they all get rinsed, then one at a time they are taken out of the tub and dried off with their own towel and then they head to the den where a warm blanket from the dryer is laying on the floor for them to rub themselves on and to snuggle. The only one who loves a bath is Pebbles and she tries to jump in the tub by herself. She could do it in her earlier days but now she is older and a little chunker so I have to help! Love the wonderful towns you are discovering and sharing with us. Have a wonderful week.
Hugs,
Lynn
