Little Betty Blue

A wish for a bright and happy Sunday to all our dear friends!

This adorable illustration comes from a children's book that Lindsey and I discovered while treasure hunting yesterday.  It is from a book from the '30's.

Little Bettly Blue
Lost her holiday shoe.
What will poor Betty do?
Why, buy her another to match the other.

We were so excited to find such an adorably illustrated book with thoughts of sharing them with you.
A perfect touch of spring!
Wishing you much happiness!

Hello Twyla and Lyndsey...
I love this little nursery rhyme. I have never heard of it before. I love reading about ones I do not know. I love her little blue sock without her shoe. Isn't she dressed absolutely adorable? Love the coloring of the page and also the clothing. SO vintage.

I wish I had seen this book. What a treasure to find. So precious. I thank you as always for sharing with me. I love it.

Have a beautiful Sunday sweeties. Country hugs and much love, Sherry

Hi Ladies,

A lovely Sunday to you, too! Thank you for the lovely illustration. I'll be posting some cards that my Grandma got back in the 1900's next, so keep an eye out.

Hugs,

Thanks for sharing such sweet images -- I've saved them for future crafting. Lindsey's baby tag is just adorable. I've just been working on my hdc blanket lately. Haven't been in the mood for much else lately. I go through phases. Hope you are having a great weekend. Many blessings, Tammy

Hi, Twyla and Lindsey,

I don't blame you for being excited about such a great find.
Cute, cute illustration. I recently found one I love called
Big Little Kitty by Whitman Publishing. Oh the pictures are so cute. I think I will do a post about it, too. :)
