Summer Afghan

I really love starting afghans.
I love the progress, the finish
and the border, too, but the most
exciting part to me is starting!

I think it's because I am anxious to see if
what I have in my head is going to look
good once I start.

I was longing to do a simple afghan
in the delightful Cath Kidston palette
and I chose the wonderfully simple
granny stripe pattern found here.

So far it's been a nice summer afghan to
work on while I have put my other on the
back burner till the temps are cooler!

I love the colors! I would never have thought of combining those. Crochet is such a soothing hobby. I need to do more of it.
