Barn Charm

I was driving through the countyside near
Washington, Missouri over the weekend
and spotted this lovely stone barn sitting
high on a hill.

I took the picture from down below
and cropped to see it closer.

What I really loved was the weather
vane on top!  I zoomed in even closer
and edited the picture below in order
to make it show up better!

The old stone barn was so beautiful, but
I was puzzled by the silo!  Seems an odd
placement for it and really different
construction.

Thanks for visiting!
Please stop by Tricia's for other
charming barns!

"Know that the Lord, He is God;
It is He who has made us,
and not we ourselves;
We are His people
and the sheep of His pasture."
- Psalm 100:3

Have a great day!

Hi Twyla, I especially enjoy your barn posts. Your part of the country is so beautiful. I will mail out the pattern on Wed. Thanks for the stop by! E

Another great barn and peek at your beautiful countryside. I'm not sure what your second picture is of but it looks interesting. Wishing you a blessed day my friend.

A stone barn! I've never seen one up close before. I sure miss our barns... I bet that silo was constructed later. ♥
