Twyla on Tuesday

Hello dear friends!
It is hard to believe that November is here.
Once again we would love to know all the November
birthday's so we can list you in our sidebar.

It is our hope that you will receive birthday greetings from other bloggers.
Just let us know in the comment section what day your birthday is!
Lindsey has a birthday the 7th!

I found this cute little Davy Crockett planter at an antique store recently.
It is not the kind I usually collect, but it was so cute!  I couldn't resist!
I believe it is made by Napco.

I created the art piece below.  I call it Home Sweet Home.
It evolved over the process of making it.  It started out with a totally
different idea, but as I began painting this is what came of it.
I believe that it conveys the peaceful home under the night sky.

I am hoping that you are enjoying your day!
Be sure and do something you love!
Make it special just because you are!
Love, Twyla

Hey Ladies,

Twyla, I'm just so excited because I think each of your mixed media pieces get's better than the last. I really like the smoke/cloud effect you have here. Can't wait to see more.

Hugs,
Meri

Hard to believe a new month is already upon us. Time sure does fly. Happy early birthday wishes to Lindsey. My little brother has a birthday on 11/11/2011. He'll be 44. Not so little anymore. Best wishes to you, Tammy P.S. Your artwork is lovely :)

Hi Twyla...my goodness but time flies when your havin' fun bloggin' and livin' life. I've been doing lots of both without much time for visiting, so I'm just droppin' in to say Howdy, and invite you to stop by CollectInTexas Gal.

As times change for all of us, our Blogs seem to reflect those changes in our interests, and CITexas Gal has changed a bit with the addition of Tracks of My Texas Ancestors. Yep, I've been bitten by the Genealogy Bloggin' Bug.

I'd love to share the Blogging Genealogy Community with you. I hope you will have a minute to stop by and see/read the 'May I Introduce You To' interview Feature on CollectInTexas Gal/Tracks of My Texas Ancestors by GeneaBlogger.

Your Davy planter will work well for November! Glad you found it.

I'm loving your art pieces, Twyla. I'm glad you've found something new that you love! I know how much you like paper AND painting so it's such a great mix for you.

Thanks for coming by for dotty Day today! ♥

What a great vintage planter - reminds me of my husband, a Crockett fan from childhood. Very 1950's western crazy looking to me - perfect for your collections, too! Lovely painting project - always enjoy peeking into your artistic lives!

Joy!
Kathy
