Altered Canvas

Hello friends!
Last week I found a lovely vintage Ballerina girl illustration that I had printed from flickr a couple years ago but never used.
So I pulled out a 6 inch canvas and created this art piece.

I first painted the canvas green using Martha Stewart's new acrylic paints.
I layered scrapbook paper and embellishments
to create bright and cheery art!

I've listed this canvas here on etsy.

Wishing you a creative day, Lindsey

Beautiful, it's inspired me to make something for my 1st grandchild, due in February 2012. Don't know if it's a boy or girl yet. Also I love the painted wrap around edges. I dislike when they are left unpainted.
