I wonder how this would fly today with the little girl holding up a dead turkey upside down? I had to laugh. Thanks for sharing this treasure. LOVE your blog!

I have a photograph of my grandmother (about 18 at the time so the photo is from about 1915 or so) proudly holding a dead rabbit that I'm sure was destined for the dinner table. Back then a dead critter meant food--yummo!
