Hello Friends!
As I organize my Barbie collection, I have come upon a few dolls that I forgot I had!
Such as this Anniversary Barbie Gift Set from 1993.
The gift set came with a reproduction of the 1959 Ponytail Barbie and 2 reproduction outfits. This one is called "Roman Holiday".
This dress is called "Apple Print Sheath".
I recently found this adorable set at a flea market! Kelly and Tommy dolls as Alice and the Mad Hatter!
Here is the October Afternoon giveaway! A paper bag book set! Since I had the honor of being their Guest Designer for the month of September, I wanted this giveaway to feature their paper!
This paper bag book kit features the fabulous Seaside paper by October Afternoon! And goodies to go in your book! All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on this post and I will announce the winner on Saturday!
Wishing you a creative day, Lindsey

The anniversary set of 1993 is still one of my favorites. I bought the loose doll back then, didn't know of any set at that moment. I don't think that I had internet access in 1993, boy have things changed! Love the Kelly and Tommy Mad hatter set too! I wonder whether you can blog about where you have your collection on some Barbie Wednesday (or days!).
Love what you did at October Afternoon Lindsey and I would be very happy to win that paper bag book kit. Keeping my fingers crossed!
I love those Barbies - the Alice one is too cute! Of course, I would love to be in your giveaway! xoxoxo
I would so love to win this giveaway! The paper bag book goodies are my favorite crafting materials! Please enter me...
Love that Alice in Wonderland! So unique!
Hugs,

The doll sets are fabulous. I'm seriously envious of your collection. I found your blog only last week so winning this giveaway would be super great!
isn't there just something so wonderful about Barbie...especially the vintage/retro ones?
Please add my name to the hat for the giveaway and many thanks for your generosity!
My sister had one of the original pony tail Barbies. Her's had dark hair. She got it the year I was born, 1959. We kept it for many years and then gave it to a cousin. KInd of wish we'd kept that one.
Please enter me in your drawing. I could think of many creative ways to use the beautiful prize.

I am sooo old I have the original barbie. Not in great shape, a dog once nibbled on her leg. But after all these years I am a worse for the wear.
The giveaway is great I love the papers.

I love the aniversary barbie... it reminds me of the one my grandma had that I used to play with. Oh how I wish my grandpa had kept all those dolls and dolls things! The papers are beautiful. They have a pretty, vintagey feel!
The 1959 Barbie has always been my favorite and it was the year I was born too! Sure wish I owned an original!
Beautiful papers and a great give-away! Thanks for a chance!
At 52 I still love my Barbie. I wear my hair in a ponytail everyday---though my Barbie had that bushy short hair! LOL Vintage 1968, she sits in my closet, fingers chewed off by my little brother! I love to come here and dream of those fun days of playing Barbies!
I'd LOVE your paper bag kit, the papers and items are so cute! Thanks for the chance to win!
Hugs, Heidi
EEk! What a fabulous giveaway! I adore everything you make. E

Enter me in your giveaway. I first came across your blog while looking for vintage valentines and have been reading it ever since--so much fun!
I love the Alice dolls-really cute. Thanks for the info on the crocheted doily circle-I had no idea what that was for. I got 3 of them that day and will be on the look out for more. Please enter me in your great giveaway!
Love your Barbies. I can remember making clothes for my little sister's Barbies. Still have many of the sewing patterns of the time. I was a little old for Barbies but was able to enjoy them through my little sis. Now I have granddaughters that love their Barbies and I'm back making Barbie clothes.
I would love to be the winner of your great giveaway.
LOVE THE DOLLS!
I really enjoy reading your Barbie blogs. I am an Adult collector with a small, but dear collection. I hope to have a display that I change with the seasons and family events. Would you believe my mother sold my original Barbie stuff in a Garage sale for $10.00, while I was overseas. What i miss most are the accessories-pots, pans, utensils, my favorite outfits-Magnificence, Guenivere, After Five, Stewardess, and my Stacy Doll. Currently, Skipper is my favorite- I love her 60s outfits.
Great giveaway too!
I just found your blog tonight. The Barbie doll caught my eye. A few of my friends had that same Barbie and I was so envious. I never had my own Barbie, but I sure enjoyed buying them for my daughters. I was cleaning out my button tin one day recently and found a pair of shorts I had made for the Ken doll. Not sure how they ended up in that tin, but my granddaughter sure got a kick out of them! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
Great giveaway, please enter me. I'd love to make something with those beautiful papers!
happy BW!
{behind on my visiting again! hope all is well and happy!}
