Hello Everyone!
While walking through a flea market Sunday, I found what is featured in today's post. A beautiful Vintage Barbie box!!!

This box is from 1962 and was produced for a Blonde Bubble Cut Barbie.

It's in such lovely condition! I am going to display it next to my 1961 Ken box I received for Christmas.

I could not believe my luck for finding this box! For only $3.50!
I was happy that it was made for a doll that I had.
The Blonde Bubble Cut was one of my first dolls I added to my collection.

Here is a Ken that I placed along with my Ken box. It's neat to see the differences in the boxes for Ken and Barbie.

Here is a close up of the front of the Barbie box. I love these sweet little graphics.

The original price tag is still on the side of the box. She was only $2.27 in 1962.

Here is photo of the side of the box.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my new blog!

Wishing you fun, Lindsey

Wow, what a good deal you got, Lindsey! Such neat graphics on the box! I love the pinkish ball gown.

So I guess the boxes didn't always have that weird celophane stuff on the front. Aren't you glad? ♥

Hi Lindsey
Great boxes and great dolls. I expect some boxes are worth more than the dolls now as the boxes will be rarer.
Best Wishes

This sure brought back a lot of memories. Around 1959 or 1960 maybe, when Barbie had just came out in the stores I bought my niece a Barbie doll and so many clothes. I recognize the pink satin gown with the white fur stole I wish she had hung onto some of it. I think I paid two or three dollars for Barbie. The outfits were so cheap back then.
I enjoyed this post even if I don't have a single Barbie thing.
