Hello friends!
I can say, as I work in a scrapbook store, that there are a lot of cute Christmas paper this year! How do you decide which one to create with? Which one you want to craft handmade decorations and presents for loved ones with?
Well I thought I would share with you some of the ones we have around here and show you all the different styles to choose from.
Ok, so here is a good place to start. How about with my favorite.
I actually have picked out 3 that I am going to use this season and all coordinate well with each other. This first one is Silent Night by October Afternoon.
It's vintage, it's retro and it's super cute! But I have to admit, I'm a fan of anything and everything that October Afternoon makes. I love their style.
Here is a close up of a couple of my favorite patterns from this line.
It's a really cute line if you are considering doing a December Daily this year.
Lots of little extra embellishments.
My second favorite - 25th and Pine by Basic Grey.
I am so in love with this line. It's very very retro and so elegant. It just makes me happy to look at it. I also see some pink and red in there. Yay!
A close up of two awesome prints.
I adore the shiny bright, vintage style ornaments!
And to round out my top three is - Bundled Up by Crate Paper
Words just can't describe the level of cuteness in this line.
I've already started working with it and can say it's adorable!
This has also been our best Christmas seller so far, which means I'm not the only one who thinks it's too stinkin cute!
Great for kids or adults. Perfect for mixing Christmas and Winter projects together.
Just look at these adorable snowmen! Makes me so happy!
But really, no matter what your style is, there is a line to fit it.
Whether it's the new trend with lots of gold, Old World, Vintage, Chalkboard or Modern, it's available. Shown here are Bo Bunny's Silver and Gold, Echo Park's Tis The Season, Echo Park Reflection's Christmas, Carta Bella's So This Is Christmas, Pink Paislee's Snow Village, Heidi Swapp's Believe and Bella Blvd's Christmas Countdown.
How does one choose?
If you like ones that feature lot's of snow, the north pole or trees? We have it!
I do, but I really just think I like them all!
These two are Merry Little Christmas by Fancy Pants and We R Memory Keeper's North Pole.
I was not a big fan of the Heidi Swapp line but I did have to pick up this sweet Santa pattern from the line.
Kaisercraft had 4 Christmas lines this year.
Featuring modern, old world and retro themes!
My favorite being this retro themed one featuring this beautiful mint color.
Or even a tropical looking Christmas one like this
Hello December line by Glitz Design.
Or one featuring some non traditional colors
like this one by My Mind's Eye, called Mistletoe Magic.
Or one with glitter papers like this Vintage Christmas line by My Mind's Eye.
If you do Project Life/Pocket scrapbooking, there is also a line for you!
This one is by Simple Stories.
If you like Victorian Style, then I would recommend Graphic 45's Twelve Days of Christmas line. Very lovely!
Or if you are more into a Swedish style,
then Authentique's Tradition would be perfect for you.
If you are embracing the big new trend of Chalkboard, then you might really like Little Yellow Bicycle's Making Merry line.
It's very cute!
Of course we can't forget the ones that are more winter themed,
like this one by Authentique.
This particular pattern from Authentique's
Glistening line really calls my name!
Although that was quite a few, I still did not get around to every new Christmas line available this year. But I hope if you were wondering about what was out there or what you might like, that this helped a little bit.
You can purchase these lines at scrapbookgeneration.com
Have a wonderful day, Lindsey
