Twyla on Tuesday - Back Again!

Hello!

It's been far too long since I've done

a post!  I didn't mean to be away so long,

but I have spent the last two months caring

for my husband who has been off work

with a bad back.  He is recovering and

has finally returned to work!

A new year is upon us and I really feel that

it is a gift.  I hope that I can take each moment

and make it count. 

I have so much to be grateful for.

I want to absorb it!

Every January I have this insane desire to crochet!

I usually make an afghan or two or three during

January.  This is one that I am currently working

on.  For me crocheting is therapudic.  I think

after the hectic holidays it's just nice to sit

down and quietly create something comforting

and beautiful.

It's nice to visit with you and I hope to

share some new projects with you in the

coming weeks!

Valentine album and Vintage Valentine

Hello friends!

Do you ever wish you could just make time stop? Just for a couple days so you could get caught up on all the little jobs in life that seem to take up so much of your time? I am feeling that way right now. Just so many things to do that instead of doing it, I just sit and think about all I need to do. I'm sure all of you can identify with me. At some point I think we have all felt that way.

I did manage to do some crafting and made this Valentine Mini Album last week.

I used Bo Bunny's Love Letter collection and added some vintage style images to the album.

Played with some fun washi tape to add borders to the edges of my pages.

This line was so sweet. I loved the colors and feel of it. I am not usually drawn to Bo Bunny collections but this one caught my eye.

Valentine is such a fun holiday to craft for, but it comes way to quickly after Christmas! I'm hoping I carve out a little more time this week for Valentine crafting. What are you working on this week?

This one is called, Stirring in Lots of Love. This will definitely be one of my all time favorites! I made this into a Valentine's Day card. I used Copic markers to color the image and Authentique's Lovely collection for the pattern paper. I added little drops of Studio Calico spray mist across my stamped image to add more detail to the card.
