Twyla on Tuesday - Psalm Journal

Hello!

I am back this week with another journal

I am working on.  I wanted to share a little

of my process with you.

I was inspired to copy the book of Psalms.

It is a wonderful meditation to write these words

and take them in as I do.  I am also decorating

the pages to make it pretty as well!

I Love the new Tim Holtz Distress Markers!

I am using them throughout this journal and they are

great!  I bought these at Hobby Lobby, but they

can also be found at some scrapbook stores.

This is the cover of my journal.

I am using a simple composition book.

When I use these I like to glue two pages

together to make the pages sturdier.

My favorite detail that I've added to the journal

is the stitched pages.  Below I show how I punch

the holes around the edge.  I then take DMC, it comes

in so many pretty colors, and do a simple whip stitch

all around the edge.

A close-up of a verse that I highlighted.  I like to

get creative with my rubber stamps and stencils.

I've had several questions lately about the kind of glue

we use.  This is my Very favorite glue stick!  It's made

by Pioneer and is very strong without wrinkling your

paper!
