Barbie Wednesday

Hello friends!
In a small town, in an old and crowded flea market there is an amazing Barbie collection!
I am overwhelmed every time I go in to see this huge floor to ceiling display. Unfortunetly the Barbies are not for sale and they have so much stuff piled in front of them, that I can't get close enough to satisfy my curiosity.

This is such a wide ranging collection from the very earliest of Barbies to the late 1990's dolls.

Mattel is currently selling several high end Barbie pieces in their new catalog and I thought this poster was awesome!

This bag brings back lots of memories. I loved Barbie's shoes and dreamed of the day I could have heels like hers. I don't anymore. A real pair like Barbie's could kill a person!

Have a lovely day, Lindsey

That tote is really cute. Wish I could see all those dolls myself!
Tell Twyla I loved her stool from yesterday (and the beautiful setting) and also love all the vintage cards you and she have been sharing. Blessings to you all!

Too bad you can't get close to them! Maybe it's so they won't get stolen. ♥

That is an amazing collection of Barbies. What a shame that you cant get up close to them. I would find that frustrating too.

Hi Lindsey,

That display is amazing, and like you, I'd like to get closer and check everything out. Since I can't ever wear heels (due to disability), I will always "want" to wear them and dream about wearing them, too. Have a great day.

Hugs,
Meri

That is some amazing Barbie collection...thanks for sharing. Tell mom I love her stool and the seat cover she made for it. The creek is just lovely..looks like a wonderful place to have a little picnic and read a book. I hate to say but,I still have not mailed your bag. I am worried about how to pack it.Do you think it will hurt to fold it in a large soft envelope. That is the idea but,I am not sure....so sorry for the delay...blessings

But wouldn't it be fun to actually wear a pair . . . sigh.

Wow!! And I thought I had a lot of Barbies. Sadly mine are all boxed up and spread between 2 homes, so I have no idea what they'd look like all on display. Thank you for posting this, it's amazing.
