Twyla on Tuesday - Collecting Pottery

Hello friends!
I get a lot of pleasure from collecting pottery.
I get a piece here and there around our state.

I love the creamy pastel colors.
I also love the many patterns and shapes.

I began by collecting the aqua ones, but then
some of the other colors started catching my eye
and I noticed how pretty they were together.

The bird (below) is one of my latest
finds.  I love the style of it.  I would
describe it as art nouveau.

I will leave you with this quote and
wish you all a fabulous week!

Good morning Twyla,
Oh I love the pastel colours of American pottery as well! I have a collection of McCoy, Shawnee plant pots and vases. In fact I have the same pretty pink vase, but mine is yellow!!
I hope you have an exquisite day!
Hugs, Laura

Love those colors. I have been buying little pitchers in those colors.....really tiny. Can't wait to put them on a little shelf.

Your pottery is pretty, Twyla! when I was growing up, I thought of pottery as brown striped stuff. :) Guess it was the hippy culture I grew up in. :)

Do something fun today- okay? I'm taking Micah to the nose Dr. :)

As a fellow pottery lover, you know I love this post! The colors are so pretty - that's exactly what attracts me to my pottery collection, as well.

Love yours!
