Hello dear friends!
I wanted to share with you
some of the latest treasures
I've found on my travels
around Missouri!
This beautiful little Roseville vase
was a steal this weekend! It has a small
repair that doesn't hurt the beauty of it
at all!
Some of you may remember that I collect
Enid Collins purses. This one is in such
perfect condition and such a cute image!
I don't think it was ever used as a purse.
I also love prints by Marigold. These
are some of my latest finds. Her style
is very whimsical. It was hard to
photograph because of the glare. In
the photo below you can see the wall
across the room:)
I hope you all are having a wonderful
spring. It seems it is such a busy time.
I find myself with too many things that
need to be done while having so many
things I want to be doing.
I'm guilty of spending too much time
on the wants.
Slow down and enjoy life.
It's not only the scenery you miss
by going so fast -
you also miss the sense of
where you are going and why.
-Eddie Canter
Have a wonderful day!
Love, Twyla

WOW... lots of great finds! Love that purse:) Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!
I love your Enid purse!! I've never seen that design before. Missouri is awesome for vintage, isn't it? Have you ever been to Alton, IL? They have some amazing antique shops too! x
Twyla, your bleeding heart Roseville vase is gorgeous!!! What a delightful find that was! I see Enid purses from time to time in the shops here, and they always make me smile. Such fun! :-)
Lovely vase! The colors are so pretty!
Summer seems to be the busy time of year...I need to enjoy it!
Warmly,
deb
I've always been impressed with you knowing the names of artists and designers! I just collect junk! ;)
I had to give myself a pep talk yesterday about remembering that I will never get everything done so do what you can and make sure and enjoy the journey! ♥
Great finds Twyla....love the quote too...so true.
Blessings

Looks like you found a few of your favorite things. Enjoy and have a great rest of the week. Tammy
Hi Ladies! This is my first guilty pleasure day to do some blog reading in weeks - buried under projects and barely posting! So happy to check in with you and see your inspiring collections! I love how you fill your home and studio with such a cheerful palette of color - your blog makes my smile and whisks me away to childhood innocence every time!
Great finds here - and love all your Irmi and vintage illustrations of late. The children's prayer book was lovely! Makes me want to head out to the antique shops today - but, alas - spent my discretionary cash at a woman's conference this past weekend.
Ah . . . me . . .
Joy!
Kathy
