Vintage Children's Book Images

Hello ladies!
One of our dear readers, Pammyjo of Grammy's Altered Life, sent us
                                                         this adorable children's book.

It has very pretty illustrations and we knew we had to share them with you!
The illustrator was Millicent Sowerby and the copyright is 1929.

Isn't this just so precious?

Feel free to use these images in your artwork.  We love to share!

Have a blessed Sunday!

  21. As an aspiring artist I love the illustrations in children's books especially the vintage ones. I spent many hours as a little girl just trying to absorb every detail of the art in some of my books...especially loved an old set of ChildCraft that my parents had!

  24. We used to say this poem about my daughter she has extremely curly red hair in fact she had a giant afro till she was about 4 when it finally was long enough to drop. We have a picture somewhere of a perfect drop ringlet that formed one day right in the middle of her forehead!
