I love the old-fashioned Hollyhock! Now there's a real flower for you! Puppet and I still make dolls from them: the unopened buds (the turbaned heads of the glamorous dancers dolls) added to the full blossoms (the fancy ballgowns)! We've been known to even put lipstick on their little faces!
These are so pretty!I loved the shadow box, too! I remember when they were all the rage in the '70s. I tried to leave a comment last night and couldn't, so I'm a little late with the shadowbox comment.
Love these postcards. My hollyhocks are about a foot tall already and I can hardly wait to see them taller and in bloom. They're a great vintage flower. Love that bumblebee too!
I love hollyhocks. I remember them in my Great-Aunt's garden towering above me. Vntage cards and other artworks have the best colors and themes! Just a reminder, Vintage Alphabet is Monday! The letters are E and F I'll have the Linky up tomorrow so I hope you can join in!
Hello Twyla and Lindsey! These cards are beautiful...I love the vintage look and you can see the embossing on the second one. It will be fun using these in something special one day. Thank you for sharing! I hope you're having a wonderful weekend..take care. Maura
Thanks!! These are lovely!! Do you by chance have one with a girl with an umbrella? I want to do a project and would like an image like that. Thanks!! Hugs, Lisa
