Hello friends, today I am sharing with you a tag tutorial using my favorite Easter card!
To start this tag, cut a piece of patterned paper 4 x 7 1/2.
Cut the top corners to create your tag shape.
I added pink ink along the edges to give the tag a softer look and cut the bottom of the tag with pinking shears.
Next, I pierced with a sewing needle, a swirled design on the tag. I used a template but you can easily draw your design along the bottom of the tag.
I then took aqua DMC and hand stitched, creating this pretty design.
Here is a look at the tag so far.
Next, I cut a piece of patterned paper 3 x 4. I then distressed and inked the edges. To create the distressed look, take an opened pair of scissors and run along the edges.
Print and cut the Easter card.
This is a mini bingo card by Jenni Bowlin. These mini bingo cards come in a set of six with different titles in sweet Easter theme.
Layer the three pieces together in the middle of the tag.
I then added a strip of pink lace along the top.
A flower with a button center and a pink and white bow finish off this tag.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and try the hand stitching technique!
Happy Monday, Lindsey

Your Easter tag is so adorable. The stitching made me think of the cards that you could get that helped teach children to sew. I always stop and check to see what you two are doing. Take care.
