In honor of the 70th anniversary of the release of the Wizard of Oz movie, we would like to invite you to join us in a Gala to celebrate this most memorable movie.
Please come join us in commemorating the Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
This could be adapted to most any medium! Scrapbooking, sewing, painting, a party or a memory of what Wizard of Oz meant to you. However you want to celebrate!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A glittery Emerald City where all your dreams are sure to come true!!
A field of Poppies where danger lurks from the Wicked Witch!
Use your imagination. Join in the fun!
You could throw a party!!
Share a memory of your first time watching the movie!!!!
Alter an OZ book!!!
Sew an apron!!!
Make an ATC!!!
Design a pair of ruby slippers!!!

I cannot believe it is 70 years!!! Weirdly I have just added a pic og Glinda on my site - must be on my mind - I have just taken the kids the stage show and fallen in love with it all over again. Amazing film!

Twyla and Lindsey, thank you for the nice comment on my OSU quilt. I only piece the tops, all my quilts are machine quilted. Easier on my hands but also I can be more carefree for them to be used on the floor for naps or taken to ballgames. Thanks again for appreciating my work.
