Inspired Sunday

I am returning to Rhineland, Missouri
this week.  A grand old church across
a corn field!

I snapped this picture on a Sunday morning
as the congregation was gathering.

  2. What a great shot! I love everything about it...the cornfield, the lovely structure, and the people, which are the real church after all.

  3. You just can't beat the beautiful architecture in the older church buildings. And the perspective of your shot just adds to its beauty. Thanks for sharing!

  7. Even the tiniest of towns has a beautiful old church or two. So sad to see so many young people turning away these days. I love to visit, and go inside (sometimes the doors are open) where I can admire the sunlight streaming through the windows, and take a quiet minute to say a prayer. I feel completely at peace in these old churches.
