Covered Bridge

I am totally smitten with covered bridges!
We are so lucky in Missouri to have 4
historic covered bridges still standing.

I was pleased to discover this modern
covered bridge in a neighborhood in St. Peter's,
Missouri.  It was built in 1976.

It still gave my heart a flutter!
There is a charm about these bridges
that totally captivate me.

I couldn't help but think how awesome
it would be to live here and get to drive
through it every day!

"Blessed be the Lord,
Who daily loads us with benefits,
The God of our salvation!  Selah"
- Psalm 68:19

Have a beautiful day!

  1. I'm with you, Twyla. Next to barns, covered bridges make me happy. Thanks for sharing this one. Perhaps a tour of Missouri bridges should be on our tour for next summer?
    Happy Weekend!

  2. Oh, I love this! I'll have to go on a search for these covered bridges. I went with my parents to see several in Oregon a few years ago.

  3. What a charming bridge. I don't think we have any of these lovely covered bridges here on Long Island. I'd have to go upstate NY to see some. Have a fun weekend Sweetie! xo

  7. Who would even guess they were still making covered bridges in 1976? I may have to see it one day. And yes, He does load us with benefits!
