I am returning to Rhineland, Missouri
this week. A grand old church across
a corn field!
I snapped this picture on a Sunday morning
as the congregation was gathering.
Joining Inspired Sunday!
"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord!" - Psalm 150:6
Have a blessed Sunday!

What a beautiful church, thanks for your kind words~
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot! I love everything about it...the cornfield, the lovely structure, and the people, which are the real church after all.
ReplyDeleteYou just can't beat the beautiful architecture in the older church buildings. And the perspective of your shot just adds to its beauty. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletei would love 2 c it without corn 2. so neat! ( ;
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful shot! That's a lovely country setting for a formal looking church. Hope you're having a great weekend, Twyla!
ReplyDeleteI love the corn in the front! Thanks for sharing this in InSPIREd Sunday.
ReplyDeleteEven the tiniest of towns has a beautiful old church or two. So sad to see so many young people turning away these days. I love to visit, and go inside (sometimes the doors are open) where I can admire the sunlight streaming through the windows, and take a quiet minute to say a prayer. I feel completely at peace in these old churches.
ReplyDeleteYou are seeing very cool churches, barns and bridges!
ReplyDeleteWarmly,
deb
