Hello friends!
Do you like my idea for yo yo tags?
I am having so much fun creating these!
I love to buy the Moda charm packs of vintage style fabrics
at our local quilt shop and make yo yos with them.
The vintage style fabric works so cute
with the Modern Homemaker paper line by October Afternoon.
Seam binding which I get here, dyed in matching colors using Distress Inks
are the perfect finish for these tags!
You can find these tags here in our etsy shop!
Wishing you a day of fun, Lindsey
What a great idea putting yo yo's on a tag! I've made a a few gift toppings with them but not on tags, I just might have to do that next.
ReplyDeleteOh you better know I like this idea, Lindsey! The top one is my favorite! I've yet to try making a yo-yo but I want to some day! ♥
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love these sweet tags! Have a blessed day, HUGS!
ReplyDeletereally REALLY love those! ;-D
ReplyDeleteI love making yoyo's, and I love making tags (with or without)! For a long time my dad was very ill, and over the course of a year or more, when we had appointments or he was in a hospital, I took my little yoyo bag and just made yoyo's to stay sane. Now I have a big box full of them, some from vintage fabric, mostly from newer fabric, and I use them on all kinds of crafts - including tags! They really are addictive once you get started! ReplyDeleteI really like the idea of using yo-yos on tags. And I recognized the PTI button card stamp. I bought that on too. So many uses.
ReplyDeleteAdorable!!! Could you possibly do a tutorial on dying seam binding sometime soon?? It lookes AWESOME!!!
ReplyDeleteOh these are so precious :)
ReplyDeleteI love yoyo's too...there's just something about them...especially when they are made from vintage inspired fabric!
Hope you girls are having a great week...
Big hugs,
Queenie
p.s. love the vintage b'day card too!
