Inspired Sunday

This week's church is in the beautiful
historic town of Defiance, Missouri
I had the pleasure of visiting there
last weekend.

Defiance is where Daniel Boone made
his homestead in Missouri and where
he and his son built a stone house.

You can take tours of the house and
grounds.  I would recommend it if you
are ever in the area.

Be sure to visit Inspired Sunday
for more beautiful churches!

"Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord!" - Psalm 27:14

Have a beautiful day!

  6. I do love visiting old homes and stepping back in time. The afghan in your previous post is so very pretty. I haven't been crocheting much at all. Hope to get my mojo back soon. Blessings, Tammy

  13. What a beautiful Church! I would like to know more of the history of the building styles of Churches during a certain era. It would also be fun to compare them from state to state. Our Church was a labor of love and gift for the Lord and His people here in our very rural corner of GA.

    Thanks for mentioning Danile Boone--now I want to watch the program. I'll put on my Ed Ames CD!
