Valentine Flower Tag Tutorial

Hello friends!
Another tag tutorial to share with you today as we get closer to Valentine's day.

I started by taking a manila tag and inking it with Wild Honey Distress ink.

Then I cut a piece of scrapbook paper to cover most of the tag.
I then took 2 small white cardstock strips and cut the using a Martha Stewart border punch.

Glue the white cardstock to the pink scrapbook paper and glue to your tag.
I then cut 2 flowers out of pink cardstock using the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Sizzix die. You can also free hand cut your flowers.

Glue the white paper doily to the center of the tag.
You can find at your local craft store in the cake decorating department.
Glue the flowers to the center of the doily.

For the center of the flower I used a small valentine sticker by Crafty Secrets.

Close up of the sticker.

Add white lace ribbon to your tag and it's done!

I hope you enjoyed the tutorial!
Here is your daily Valentine!

Wishing you a day of joy, Lindsey

  2. Thanks so much for the cute idea. I won't have time to use for this Valentine's Day, but will keep in mind for next year. I'm also thinking of ways to tweak this same idea for a Spring/Easter theme?!

  6. Very pretty, girls. Thanks to you I have been going a little tag crazy lately!
I was in an antique store yesterday with my husband. We were picking up an old bed for our son's room. I started looking through the booths for Valentines, but didn't find anything as nice as the ones on your site. So, Thanks!
