Sugar Kissed Clothespins!

Hello friends!
Today I am sharing a tutorial for these easy to make clothespin creations!

I am using mini clothespins for this, but the regular size would work also. The minis are really cute!! I found them at Hobby Lobby.

I cover both sides with a strip of paper. For the minis the paper strip measures 1/4 x 1 /34.

This is how your clothespin looks once covered.

Now the fun part! Deciding what you want to make! These clothespins can clip onto tree branches to make ornaments, clip onto a Christmas card for a personal touch, clip them to your stockings or attach them to your presents, which is what I am going to make!
I start with this little paper doilie tag by Martha Stewart.

Add a little pink glitter glue to Sugar Kiss the doilie!

I then added a strip of song sheet paper and gold glitter glue along the edges. The glitter glue is also by Martha Stewart. I just bought the set with all of Martha signature glitter colors. I love them! The fine tip is perfect for adding tiny accents!

To finish of my clothespin, I glued a santa chipboard embellishment to the center and clipped my clothespin to the bottom. Now it's ready to clip onto a package or stand on it's own as decoration.

Another idea for these are place card holders! Just write out the names, add some decorative paper and  a touch of glitter to make festive place card holders for your Christmas party!

I hope you enjoyed this easy tutorial!

Wishing you a happy Monday, Lindsey

  1. Hi Lindsey, these are lovely, thankyou I can think of all sorts of ways to use them, I am assuming that you could use pretty fabric to cover the pins as well.
