Twyla on Tuesday

Hello, dear friends!
We have been so consumed lately with our
craft room re-do that I haven't shown you any of my recent finds!
This assembladge was picked up on a recent trip to Arkansas.

It is one of our favorite trips to hit the road south to Arkansas
and marvel at the beautiful rolling hills and valleys and breathtaking
views.  It doesn't hurt that our destination always promises some
wonderful shopping!
This gorgeous Roseville planter was a delightful find this weekend for a
very fair price considering it had the chip in the back.  On my shelf you
don't even notice.  I only see the sweet beauty of the piece.

I adore old crock bowls.  It may be because of the memory of my
Grandmother's pieces that I grew up with or that there is just something so
'country' about them.  I am, afterall, a country girl at heart.  This beautiful
light blue bowl has USA on the bottom.  I love the pattern and color.

This little stool was another one of those items that was too cute
to pass up.  The top has been needle felted and I love the gray wool.

I want to thank everyone for your sweet comments on our last
post debuting our new craft room.  It meant a lot to us that you took the
time to congratulate us on our hard work.  It was an enormous job, but
every time we walk in the room, we can hardly believe it!  We almost hate
to craft cause we don't want to mess it up!  We are lucky to
have such a big room and would you believe it, it still doesn't hold All my yarn!
I've got to get busy!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Be blessed, stay blessed!
Twyla

Now go in there and make a little mess in that fabulous new craft room--it's okay! It will be fun to clean up again!

Hope you're having a wonderful night!

  7. Great finds Twyla, and I've just now taken a look at your finished craft room post. I love it! It looks so spacious, and I love all of the pieces that you've chosen to bring it all together. From the Elizabeth cabinet to those sweet dressers, I know you and Lindsey will have no problem being creative in there!

  8. Hi Twyla!
You find the best stuff. I adore your stool - anything with a birdie on it (or a house, or a heart), speaks to me (LOUDLY). We're all about green over here and I love your Roseville, what a great find - I love the bleeding hearts on it, so charming and I will be on the lookout for crock bowls now!
    Happy happy Tuesday,
    Sally
P.S. looking forward to hearing about all of your craftiness in your new room!

  10. Once again you have managed to find adorable things. I love the stool with the bird on it.
I just read your post about your newly decorated craft room. What a charming place for two "crazy" crafters to spend time. It is so pretty and well organized. Great job.

  11. Wonderful treasurers as usual. I especially like the stool. I looked over all your craft room photos carefully too what a huge project. I am going to be setting up a craft room this year too and always peek in for ideas. Funny I wanted to put paper lanterns in a corner like you did and I like too the idea for the bread box. I have one myself and am not using it, I could do this with it !! I love your cabinet like E's how fortunate you could find one.

  12. Twyla, On my next visit to my favorite antique mall, I will photograph the shelves and shelves of Roseville Pottery made here in Ohio. It is by far the most beautiful ceramics I have ever seen. Your piece is just beautiful! Sigh! Again, it was such fun seeing your craft room. I think I have "visited" a dozen times! Elizabeth

It's so wonderful to see you guys again! I'm so out of the loop that I didn't even know you guys were doing a craft room redo! YIKES! How bad is that? I promise I'll do better, however, my computer is dying so it all depends on how soon I can get a new one! YIKES AGAIN!

I'm showing off my antique tatting shuttles so stop by if you get the chance! I'd love to show them to you!
