Little Girl Valentine Tag Tutorial

Hello friends, today I am sharing the first of our Valentine tutorials!
Today I am sharing with you a tutorial for this Valentine tag I created.

First start by printing and cutting out this vintage Valentine.

I then cut out a tag from white cardstock. The tag measures 3 x 6.

Then I took my favorite tool, my Vintage Photo Distress Ink and blending tool all by the fabulous Tim Holtz and inked lightly across my tag and around the edges.

I then cut a 2 x 3 piece of patterned paper. I used paper from Bo Bunny's Love Bandit collection.
I then took a Martha Stewart edge punch to cut along one side of my paper. I glued that to the top of my tag.

This acrylic stamp set is by Inkadinkado and was purchased recently from Michaels. I used this cute alphabet stamp set to stamp A - G along the left side of my tag.

This is a great way to get a child or school like feel to your projects.

Next I added Tattered Rose Distress Ink along the edges of my tag and across the patterned paper to add more color to my tag.

I then knotted a strip of ribbon and glued it across the top of my tag.

I added a flourish to the bottom of my tag using an acrylic stamp and Worn Lipstick Distress Ink.

And lastly I glued on my vintage image using foam pop dots to make the girl stand out.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and I hope I have inspired you to make Valentine projects!
Happy mid week, Lindsey
