Isn't this the cutest little face you've seen in a long time? I fell in love with this little planter this weekend when I found it in an antique mall and it was half price!

Lindsey and I have been going on what I call 'daycations'. We drive to a town that we've not been to before and check out their antique stores and flea markets. Our daycation this past week payed off in unexpected ways when I happened onto a booth that had the most amazing collection of enamelware I have ever seen.

It was an even more exciting find when I read the 75% off sign on the booth! I was able to get the blue coffee pot with the insides still with it and this most unusual tea pot for unbelievably good prices. Don't you love the checkerboard pattern around the top?!

Our friend, Sarita, who approached us some time ago with an email expressing that she loved our blog, sent us precious gifts this past week.

She took the care to wrap everything so pretty. Can you believe she was so kind and generous that she shared this pink mushroom pin that she has owned since the late 60's or early 70's. It made it so much more special that it belonged to her.

She also sent Lindsey some baby announcement cards. You can see Sarita's sweet comments on our posts, but unfortunately, she doesn't have a blog.

There is a blogger who has made such an impact on my life and many others, I am sure. She is Elizabeth of Creative Breathing. She tells stories and shares memories of her childhood and some of my favorite are the ones about her incredible mother. Elizabeth shares so much with her friends and readers.

I was the lucky one this past week when I received one of her special handmade pincushions. It came so sweetly packaged and even included a vintage card that she knew we would love. I can hardly believe the detail in the pincushion. It is so beautiful and just as precious as she is. She handmade all the little felt flowers around the pincushion. She is so nice that she shared how to make these on her blog. If you haven't met Elizabeth, you are missing so much beauty and inspiration.

One of the sweet ladies who bought cherries from me, sent me something that she knew I would love when she mailed me her check. Isn't this so sweet?! Thank you so much, Julie! How did she know I would love it so much ;) Julie owns a quilt shop in Washington. Oh, how I wish I could go!

There is so much to be thankful for this week. I feel like one of the luckiest people in the world. I love the way the women who share so much of their lives through their blogs also reach out and want to share bits of themselves with others. It's a wonderful sisterhood that we belong to! I hope all of you have a richly beautiful week! Twyla
