This was my first Barbie! Well, not this exact one. Mine was thoroughly played with. I have been wanting to find one in the box for a long time now and we walked in to a flea market Saturday and there it was! Just waiting for me!

Dream Fantasy Barbie. She came out in 1990! Her dress could be changed to have four different looks. Which is probably why I lost some of the parts of her dress.

I miss the Wal-Mart Special Editions. I have several of them that were my favorites.

Don't you love the hair? It's huge! I believe I combed mine's hair so much that it's not fluffy like that one anymore.

This is my newest Halloween Scrapbook album! I love the Martha Stewart paper! This album is FULL of sparkly gems and elegant swirly rub-ons. The spiderwebs make perfect photo corners! Now available in our Etsy shop.

Thanks for visiting me today, Lindsey

  5. Hi Lindsey,
I am really enjoying learning fun facts about Barbie : ) Somewhere packed away I still have my first barbies and Ken doll from when I was a child, I am 43, so they are probably around 35 years old. I also have a Barbie RV camper somewhere, haven't thought about that for a long time. Hope you had a great Wednesday!

  13. We do seem to collect a lot of the same things. By the way that puppy sure is cute. Love your little old autograph book. That isn't something you usually find. I would love to find an old recipe box with handwritten recipes in, you know from a long time ago. Haven't yet. Of course always on the lookout for the folk art dishes.
