It's time to party!
Happy May first!
Scrappy Jessi said to wear our party hats so this is what I made for the occasion.
I can't wait to see everybody's favorite toys. I couldn't find any pictures of me with my toys when I was little. Luckily I still have my favorite toys.
I loved Cabbage Patch dolls. This was my first one. I named her Diana.
This little mouse I don't remember getting but my Mom tells me when I was little I found it in the craft department at Wal-Mart and wouldn't let go of it. I have so many memories of sleepying with it.
I don't know why I wanted him or why he was in crafts but he is very special to me now.
This is a little music box I got when I was a baby. I think it's the only clown I don't find creepy!
When I was little we started collecting My little ponies at flea markets. We have quite a collection. I always thought they smelled good.
This was Mom's doll when she was a little girl. Her name is Tammy Lynn.
These were her Barbies. The first is an American Girl Barbie in her original bathing suit. The second is a Twist and Turn Barbie. When we found them a few years back in a box it really made me want to start building myself a collection of vintage dolls. They are just so beautiful and elegent.
Here is a picture of some of my vintage Barbies I've collected so far. I will have to show pictures of my whole collection sometime.
Hope you enjoyed seeing our favorite toys!
Have a wonderful day, Lindsey and Twyla

My younger sister (6 yrs) had a thing w/ scissors and did bad, bad things to all of my Barbies... Specifically: bad, bad haircuts. So the only thing that remains is one floral long dress that I adored. I keep thinking I want to frame it or something...
ReplyDeleteLove your collection!
I loved Cabbage Kids too and they feature in my post today!
