The walking continues!
This weekend was very hot!
And as you can see, not very
much shade to walk in!
We've moved away from the bluffs and
the Missouri river, but the farm land
is so beautiful, too!
Much of the trail has been under a
canopy of trees, but currently the
walking is in full sun.
I am getting tan! Something I
haven't had in years!
"Let us hold fast the confession of our
hope without wavering, for He who
promised is faithful." - Hebrews 10:23
Have a nice day!

Do you find that when you walk, you notice things you would never notice otherwise? Even walking my neighborhood, I see things I've never noticed before when I'm driving. Your route is beautiful, hope you're wearing sunscreen!
ReplyDeleteHave a good week Twyla!

Again, what a beautiful area you live in! I can just imagine how long that beautiful country lane looked to you when you were hot and tired though. My husband and I rode our bikes on a local walking/biking trail on Friday. I quickly found out that it's been too long since doing any kind of strenuous exercise! I'm proud of you for keeping on!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful new week!
Looks like a most beautiful place to walk! Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteIt is so much more pleasant to walk when you have pretty scenery to look at, isn't it? (Did you guys move up closer to St Louis or something? Or are you driving all the way up from Springfield each weekend to take these walks?)
ReplyDeleteGood for you, walking this trail! It looks like a beautiful walk - so much to see. I have a feeling you'll remember this summer for a long time!
