Hello friends!
Mom and I went on an antiquing trip last weekend. Here are a few of my treasures!
This super cute planter! Love, love, love it!
I also found 2 issues of McCall's magazine. One from 1918 and one from 1913.
These magazines are full of fun old illustrations of ladies in their regal gowns.
And finally this cute little guy! I know he's a little chippy, but I couldn't pass up that cute face. He was also cheap and just had to come home with me!
Have a lovely day dear friends, Lindsey
Wow, those mags are really old! I instantly think about the women who originally read them!
ReplyDeleteYour little treasures are fun, too. Was this by any chance a birthday shopping trip? ;)
What fun things you find - and in all your perky colors, too! Love the McCalls mags and those fashion illustrations are so lovely . . . a nice diversion . . .

ReplyDeleteHi Lindsey! I happened to see your smiling face when visiting Holly and thought to myself I hadn't visited since an absence of blogging for six months.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to see you employed at a scrapbook store as there is NO ONE who creates more beautiful paper art.
I am also so happy to see your mother still collecting graceful things to add to her collections.
I wish you both a wonderful holiday season. AND Happy Birthday Twyla! Elizabeth
Wonderful finds, Lindsey! I'm so jealous of your magazines! I'm always on the lookout for them and rarely find them--lucky you!
ReplyDeleteWishing you both a beautiful evening!
Julie
