Dear friends,
Happy New Year to you all!
I love a new year, fresh and full of hope.
In thinking of a word for the year, the word
Thankful
seems most appropriate.
My bookmark is sitting in the middle of this remarkable book.
I am devouring every awe-filled word. I am reminded of how
very much I have to be thankful for. Ann has such a way of turning a
phrase. Not only does she awaken a passion of thanks in your heart,
you also realize she is a true artist. She paints beautiful pictures
with words. The scenes taking place in my head as I read are
colorful, sweet and detailed by this talented wordsmith.
Some of the things I am thankful for:
sweet, fluffy love.
A basket of luscious yarn waiting to be turned
into something beautiful.
Supplies to inspire by creativity.
Vintage touches that speak to my heart without
which my soul would be lonely.
I am also so thankful for the friendship and kinship
that I have found within this blogging community.
Thank you for visiting and taking the time to leave a
comment. Your words make my day sweet.
May your new year be blessed and wonderful!
Love, Twyla

What a gorgeous book! And I see my birthday magically appeared on the list this year! Thanks so much! You are always so sweet to remember! Hugs! ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteHi Twyla! I chose a word myself, for the first time ever, and am surprised to hear others have chosen "a word" before! I've found myself getting a little more stressed in this past year, and so this year, I chose my word to be "peace". I've heard of people reaching a state of mind/being referred to as "inner peace", and it sure does sound GOOD to me!! (0; Wishing you a blessed and very Happy New Year! ~tina
ReplyDeleteI haven't been able to visit as much as I would like due to my husband's illness but hope I will have some time this year as I love what you do and love to see mothers and daughters working together. I also have two of those little white lambies of my own at home. Right now, they are sleeping on either side of me. Such a joy!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Suz
