Hello friends!
I thought I would show you how I created a little
winter wonderland inside this jar.
I used Epsom salt for the snow. It is sparkly like snow and
a good consistency. Just layer in as deep as you'd like.
I added the church in the background, which was a glittered
ornament that I found at Wal Mart this year. The trees were
little bottle brush trees from Hobby Lobby.
The cute little girl figurine is a flea market find.
She is by Lefton and the perfect touch. I also think
animal figurines would be cute, too.
I think you could have fun creating your own
tiny wonderland!
It is time to announce the winner of the giveaway
for the scarf! First, I'd like to say that I wish everyone
could have won! Thank you all for your sweet
comments about the scarf.
The winner is Carol of Old Glory Cottage!
Thank you for visiting today. The week of
Christmas is a busy one and we appreciate you
taking the time to stop by.
Enjoy your day!
Twyla

Your snow globe is so pretty! I have been wanting to do one of these, but didn't get to it this year. I love the idea of using epsom salts for the snow. I'll use yours as inspiration for a future project. Maybe I should get a head start for next year!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
I really love this jar Twyla, because not only is it cute, but it would be the perfect way to display my figurines without our new kitten being able to knock them over!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited that I won your scarf, and I've just sent you my address. I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas!
