Hello dear friends!
Last week I shared with you the old cupboard
that we moved to the living room.
This week I am debuting my brand new (old)
cupboard!
Last week I shared with you the old cupboard
that we moved to the living room.
This week I am debuting my brand new (old)
cupboard!
I saw this in a favorite antique store.
The first time it was separated and sitting apart. I thought each piece
was pretty neat.
The next time I went back, they had put the smaller
piece on top and I was in love!
Not only was it adorable, but it came in two small
pieces that I could get in my back seat in two separate trips!
It seemed meant to be!
I had hoped I could bring it home and let it fill up
slowly, but alas, it was crowded in no time.
Too many pretties. Hey, I'm not complaining.
I so love the look of the white in my living room.
It brightened it up so much and is just perfect
for summer time decorating.
You can pretty much tell what I like to collect.
Everything I have is old.
The way I like it.
I hope you have enjoyed my little reveal.
Thank you for dropping by today!
Have a joyful day!
Twyla
I love seeing all your projects and reveals! I too love everything old and gently used, makes me feel all fuzzy and warm. Every little nook and cranny is occupied in my house! Take care and thanks for sharing, Marilyn McIldoon

That is lovely! Whenever I bring something home, it is filled up in no time too. Have a terrific Tuesday. Tammy
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it! AND I love all of your pretties! Perfect! Have a blessed day my friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteFantastic, love your reveal of the unit. Adore your collection of pretty goodies, esp the dog ornament :D
ReplyDeleteHi Twyla:
ReplyDeleteI love your new cabinet! It's just perfect for all the beautiful things you collect. The white really shows everything off, too. Thanks for sharing.
Hope you have a nice day, my friend.

What a great piece!! The old hinges and latches are fun! And I always have to enlarge the photos to see all the wonderful things you have displayed... love the biscuit jar over on the right side! And your kitties are really cute. I need a long narrow picture like that to hang on my family room wall. (over the tv...I have too much blank space up there.)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find! It looks so nice with all your pretty things in it.
ReplyDeleteLOVE, LOVE your new/old hutch! And, of course your "old" treasures!
ReplyDeleteIt's always fun to add to the collection...however today I'm going to bring a few boxes to the thrift store..gotta get the family room cleaned up..
Have a great day.
Warmly,
deb
What a wonderful reveal! I love this piece, Twyla! Thanks for showing us! Your house is so pretty. ♥
ReplyDeleteOH TWYLA, THIS IS SO VINTAGE AND LOVELY. IT LOOKS SO NICE WITH ALL YOUR PRECIOUS ANTIQUES. HAVE A NICE DAY. RIZZI
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find....the perfect piece for your displaying your treasures!
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful cupboard and you have graced it so nicely with your collectibles...Old is so much better...than the new "made in China" stuff....its lovely and speaks of a much better America when things were made and sold right here in our own great Country and benefited our own people....blessings
ReplyDeleteThis is just the most wonderful old hutch with so much character I adore this and what you put into it.
ReplyDeleteLove your cupboard and all your pretties! Barney is such a cutie! Love the pic below of him!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Maryjane
PS I love your Etsy shop too!
That's what they call a marriage made in heaven. The two pieces are better together than separate. It would look great with anything, but looks perfect with your pinks.
ReplyDeleteWell hello ladies! Absolutely love, love, love your posts....grabbed your button for my blog! What beautiful findings and details, I will visit often. :)
ReplyDeleteTwyla, that cupboard is unbelievably charming! What a wonderful, wonderful find. And filled with all sorts of vintage loveliness.

That hutch reminds me of an old hoosier. You're lucky to have it!
