Hello friends!
Today in my creative space is a new line of scrapbook paper that I have been waiting to get my hands on!
October Afternoon's 5 and Dime line is so beautiful, soft and vintage! I am so happy just to look at it!
Mom and I headed to a Scrapbook store called Scrapbooks Forever in Branson, MO yesterday so that I could stock up on this pretty paper.
It's also available here on Amazon.
I am having a hard time making the first cut on this paper. So many ideas and possibilities that I don't know what to make first!
What would you make?
Wishing you a happy day, Lindsey
Oh! What an adorable new line, Lindsey! I'm just going to have to try and find it--it's vintage perfection!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your sweet comments yesterday--I saw them before Blogger made them disappear! Wasnt' that whole thing frustrating?!
Wishing you both a wonderful day!
Julie
Very pretty paper! I like making cards best! ♥
ReplyDeleteI love the paper too, I bought it a couple of weeks ago and used some of it for my mother's day card I made.
ReplyDeleteI love finding new paper!!!

Well dang, I guess I'll be putting in and order. And I said I wasn't buying any paper supplies for a while!
ReplyDeleteHi Ladies,
ReplyDeleteWell Lindsey I'm seeing a lot of goodies that I hope you're using on our project....hint, hint! Maybe I'll use the same stuff....okay, maybe not, but you're right it's gorgeous. I can never have enough October Morning!
Hugs,
Meri
Yumo paper! ♥
ReplyDeleteHI!
ReplyDeleteI love it too! Someone told me about scrapbooking on HSN. I went there and they had Anna Griffen things. I think I broke the bank ordering things. They came a week ago and don't want to tap into them. They are so beautiful to just look at.
Do you use a "Cricut". My husband bought me the whole deal at Christmas because he was tired of me lamenting all the cutting I was doing by hand and also running out of that certain letter on Sunday evening when I had to get something done. Will definately return to your wonderful blog.
I am new to scrapbooking but have been crafting for more years than I can say.
Have a great day and let cut into our papers!
Chery
Hi Miss Chery,
ReplyDeleteI have a Cricut Expression. I do love it, especially for cutting letters and basic shapes. It does take some time to get used to it and all of the possibilites can be a little overwhelming but it's a great tool!
Thank you for your comment!
Lindsey
I love that line! Reading down the blog, what I'd do with it: I'd make a picture/collage on a canvas..that way you can hang it and enjoy it all the time..and the colors/theme is very springy-summery, so very current for decor!
ReplyDeleteThe same!! I recently bought up some 5 and Dime items too, love it!
ReplyDeleteI just love that paper...my eye caught that old phone dial...so cute..Now I've got to find it...
ReplyDeleteMake another of your lovely altered cigar boxes. Very nice!!
