Twyla on Tuesday

Hi friends!
The holidays are over and time to put away the decorations.
I've done a little redecorating of the mantle.

 
To say that my tastes are eclectic is a definite understatement, but
I tend to keep my fireplace with a country feel.  This side of the
mantle is a little more deco, what was that I said about eclectic?




Everything I like and collect is old and appeals to me on
a heartstring level. 




The old gray document box was my newest addition.

    I love it all, Twyla! I'm the same...very eclectic! I've never had "a style", but love all vintage--and like you said, whatever tugs at my heartstrings is what I love. I do favor the Craftsman/Deco period, however!

    Love your display....I too am quite eclectic....I have toned down the color so much in my little mobile home...I still have some red about though...after all it is my favorite color...but,a soft blue has become appealing to me as of late...I love vintage style but,prim stills sparks quite a interest too...see what I mean :)

    I love your mantle it is just perfect. Everything looks so cozy and inviting.
    There is not a style out there that says home sweet home more than the eclectic style.

    Eclecic can be good : ) I have been doing some redecorating and getting rid of alot of things, trying to go by that quote "Live with what you love". I am trying to get back to blogging. I've missed you!

    Your mantle looks so vintage and charming Twyla...wish I had a mantle to decorate...that would be fun :)
